Due to the extreme weather conditions and flooding, all Maricopa Community College campuses and locations are closed, and all in-person classes are cancelled today, Monday, September 8. This includes evening classes.

Maricopa Community College Department of Public Safety employees are asked to report to their regular posts if they can get there safely. Other (“non-essential”) employees should avoid travel to work if possible.

Employees who are currently at locations are advised to leave once they are able to get home safely.

All Rio Salado locations are scheduled to open tomorrow, Sept. 9. We will keep you posted if that changes.

Maricopa Community Colleges include:

Estrella Mountain Community College
GateWay Community College

Please be safe out there.
