Culture of India Brown Bag Presentation

Join us as we celebrate the fourth day of International Education Week. Today, we journey to India for a brown bag presentation, Indian food specialties and a selection of international documentaries.

Culture of India Brown Bag Presentation
Join Rio’s own Harpreet Maan and her friend Rashmi Kwatra for a “Celebration
of India” cultural presentation. The brown bag takes place from 11:30 a.m. –
1 p.m. in the Café at Rio Dining Room.

Indian Food Specialties in the Café @ Rio:
Curried vegetable kabobs with lamb meatballs, rice Birianni, and cucumber yogurt salad.

International Documentaries:
The following Rio Salado College Library documentaries will be shown in the Café @ Rio dining room from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m:

•    A Most Unlikely Hero
•    My Mother India
•    Geronimo and the Apache Resistance

They are also available online to staff and students who are logged into RioLearn.

International Education Week is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide, and is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education.
