Kick Off: International Education Week

We begin the 15th annual International Education Week celebration with a series of documentaries and a specialty dish from the Café @ Rio. Today, you will have an opportunity to explore the exciting destinations of China, India and Ireland.

Irish Food Specialties in the Café @ Rio:
Irish corned beef and cabbage, boiled red potatoes, spicy stone ground mustard ($6.95)

International Documentaries:
The following Rio Salado College Library documentaries will be shown in the Café @ Rio dining room from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m:

•    Young & Restless in China
•    Shanghai Bride
•    Tapoori: Children of Bombay

They are also available online to staff and students who are logged into RioLearn.

International Education Week is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide, and is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education.
