New AZ IBEST Energy Systems Program

Text: Rio Salado College now offers a certificate in Energy Systems Technology through the Arizona IBEST program for those who want a career in building energy management. You will learn how to control building operational systems including computer, electrical, HVAC and security. Classes also cover energy management, conservation concepts and building codes. What is IBEST? Integrated Basic Education and Skills Training (IBEST) is for students who are studying for the high school equivalency (HSE) exam while also receiving career-specific training to help with future employment opportunities.
