Celebrate diversity and cultural treasures from around the globe during International Education Week, Nov. 14 -18!

Rio Salado proudly takes part in this annual initiative led by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs to help promote the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide.

Here's a look at our week-long lineup of special events, activities and culinary delights from the Café at Rio.

Monday, Nov. 14 – CHINA
Chinese Display: International Ed. Dept. (ground floor, Tower), 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Themed Videos and Library Display: Café at Rio, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Activity: Visit the International Ed. Dept. to learn more about China.
Café at Rio Lunch Special: Kung Pao Chicken, $6.49 or Beef & Broccoli, $6.99

Tuesday, Nov. 15 – CAMEROON
Cameroon Display: Near the Café @ Rio

Activity: Stop by the Amphitheater to learn more about Cameroon, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Wednesday, Nov. 16 – SWEDEN

Activity: Cooking demonstration at Rio Amphitheater, 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Library Resources
The Rio Salado Library has produced a series of guides, which highlight targeted resources that can help you learn more about the countries and cultures featured during our International Education Week celebration. Use the guides to explore books, eBooks, streaming films, selected library databases and more-- hand-picked by the library team for this year's event. Check it out now online. Please note, you must be logged into RioLearn to access.

Daily Prizes!
All International Education Week participants will be entered into a drawing to win a prize. One entry per person per day. Participants are required to sign in for in-person activities hosted at the Tempe headquarters to be eligible. Can't make an event?  Submit a photo and caption of a related activity to crystal.lopez@riosalado.edu to be entered into the drawing.
