Get the Facts About FAKE NEWS Monday, April 17

"Information Literacy: Let's talk FAKE NEWS!” will be presented by Kirstin Thomas, Instructional Coordinator for the Library at Rio Salado College as the next session of the Spring Brown Bag Series. Mrs. Thomas is an excellent member of the library who works closely with faculty to infuse information literacy throughout the courses. 

This presentation is in partnership with the Rio Salado College Library. Join us on April 17 from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. in the Rio Salado Conference Center to get the facts on fake news.

The final Spring Brown Bag event will be presented by speaker Martha De La Torre, Adjunct Faculty of Psychology at Rio Salado College.  Ms. De La Torre is also a counselor and provides services at a facility in Arizona. 

This presentation will cover the experiences of unaccompanied children crossing U.S. borders and the services provided to them on their journeys. Join us on April 24, 2017 from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. in the Rio Salado College Conference Center to learn about the impacts of minors crossing the border into the US.
