This WCET Frontiers blog addresses a recent study funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation called, Making Digital Learning Work: Success Strategies from Six Leading Universities and Community Colleges, which included Rio Salado College as one of “approximately 50 candidate institutions cited as exemplars in the implementation of digital learning.”
The blog includes a follow-up discussion about that study with Rio Salado College administrators and WCET’s Director of the Digital Learning Solution Network Stacey VanderHeiden Güney.
Rio personnel included in the dialogue were:
- Janelle Elias, Dean of Institutional Effectiveness and Innovation
- Angela Felix, Faculty Chair for Languages, Faculty Senate President
- Zach Lewis, Analyst in Office of Institutional Research
- Kate Smith, Vice President of Academic Affairs
We appreciate the efforts of WCET in facilitating this dialogue, and for giving us the opportunity to explain our unique model and outcomes.
