Get Food, Medical & Cash Assistance

Hunger and poverty can hit when you least expect it. Don't go it alone. Apply for food, medical and cash assistance at my.maricopa.edu/support/basic-needs.

  • Nutrition Assistance - The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, formerly known as “Food Stamps”) provides assistance for individuals and families through monthly benefits, so they can purchase nutritious foods and stay healthy.
  • Medical Assistance, or Medicaid - Medicaid is the state medical assistance program for low-income individuals and families.
  • Cash Assistance - Cash Assistance through the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program provides temporary cash benefits and supportive services to the neediest of Arizona’s families.
