Hunger can strike at any time and knows no boundaries! On any given day, thousands of students struggle with chronic hunger, which means they may not know where they’re going to get their next meal. At the Maricopa Community Colleges, 64-percent of students reported marginal or worse food security. According to a recent UC Berkeley study, an estimated 38% of undergraduate students experience food insecurity at some point during their academic journey.
