Forbes Mentions Rio In Top HR Trends That Matter Most In The 2020 Workplace




Have you read the Forbes.com article on the top 10 HR trends that matter most in the 2020 workplace? The article highlighted Rio Salado College’s partnership with The Hartford to create a program to train the next generation of insurance professionals. This comes in part of efforts to source non-traditional job candidates outside of four-year degrees.

The Hartford partnered with Rio Salado College, Capital Community College and Connecticut Department of Labor to create and develop an apprenticeship program to source non-traditional talent.

The goal of the partnership is to develop an auto insurance specific curriculum and paid on-the-job training to equip students for key customer facing roles in The Hartford’s claim operation and doing so by recruiting for skills rather than college pedigree.
