- Opening remarks by employees about the meaning of Civil Rights.
- Discussion with Faculty Chair for Psychology, Philosophy, and Religious Studies and Faculty Senate President Wanda Tucker and her special guest Pam Tucker, who will talk about their journey discovering how their families’ histories are intertwined, beginning with the first African slaves brought to the United States in 1619.
- MLK tribute march along the Rio Way path ending at the amphitheater for a closing ceremony.
