KJZZ 91.5 is highlighting Arizona’s efforts to lower the percentage of young people not working or going to school with a new radio mini-series.

The Show shines a light on the Opportunities for Youth Re-engagement Center aimed at more than 67,000 youth in the state between the ages of 16 to 24 who have the potential for re-engagement.

The Show reaches out to Tim Valencia, Youth and Education Director for the city of Phoenix, and Kristin Ferguson-Colvin, a professor of social work at ASU and director of the Center for Human Capital and Youth Development, to find out more about what’s being done to reach this population.
