World Autism Awareness Month

Graphic shows a child holding up a puzzle piece of the world

April is World Autism Awareness Month. In 1972, the Autism Society launched the first annual National Autistic Children’s week, which evolved into World Autism Awareness Month (NAAM). The goal of World Autism Awareness month is to increase understanding and acceptance of people with autism, foster worldwide support and inspire a kinder, more inclusive world.

Use this month to help spread awareness, promote acceptance, and ignite change.
